OUR TRIP TO DENMARK

We have been to Denmark from 14th until 18th May and had a great time full of fun.

We enjoyed the leisure programme during the day and the free time in the evenings. Visiting the Stevns Cliffs in the beautiful weather was amazing.

Our stay with the host families was wonderful. They were so caring and friendly.

The programme part with the author was a bit exhausting because she talked too much and sometimes it was hard to understand her, but we enjoyed the writing of our own story. It was very interesting.

We had a wonderful week with lots of fun with the new friends we made. The Danish people were so nice.

We want to say thank you for your great hospitality.

VISIT TO GERMANY

From the 27th November to 1st December Denmark, Czech Republic and Spain visited the German school. This is what the Danish students wrote about their experience:

Amalie Bach-Jacobsen

I think it was a fun and good week because I loved the people in our town and also all the pupils from the other countries. I thinkt it was exciting to meet all of them.

I learned a lot about other cultures and things.  It was nice to learn about the big cathedral in Colonel.

When I was in Germany I didn’t read a lot, but when I got home I have been reading more.

 Victoria

I liked the place where I lived, and they were very nice and very kind. Also in the school they  were all very nice, and they helped us.

I learn a lot of English. So now I am much better than before. I have also improved my German.

I was a little afraid about reading out loud for them all, but in the small groups with 4 pupils it was okay to read.

  Mads Sørensen

How did I feel about my stay?

I thought it was great! I met new people and friends. I learned to speak more English in a normal day. When I was with my hosts family they would always be so helpful.

 What did I learn?

I learned a bunch of English because I had to talk English all the time, I also learned a small bit of German. And I learned about some new people and friends.

What did I do for reading this week?

We did some different reading tasks, like getting a paper and we have to do what it says, or getting some questions that we had to correct, with a different paper that had the information

BARCELONA MEETING IS COMING

Next week, Bon Pastor School will host Hungarian and Danish people in order to develop one of the mobilities included in the Project "Let's read again". Everybody in Barcelona is impatient to start the official programme activities. We think that some of these events will be recorded and broadcasted by BTV, a local TV channel in Barcelona. Our pupils are looking forward to meeting you.

You can download the programme here.

TRIP TO CZECH REPUBLIC

From the 16th to the 20th of October 2017 a group of Spanish, Hungarians and Czech students and teachers met in Nydek to share some learning and teaching activities about reading .

Sonia Ruzafa, from Barcelona, wrote these comments after the trip:

"I think that Erasmus+ is the best experience that school has given to me".

I enjoyed every single second in Nydek, the Czech Republic. Everyone was lovely and nice, the people were so closed to me, so polite and friendly, they tried to make me feel confortable and they got it !

We visited Trinec Library, the best library I´ve ever seen. The librarians encouraged us to read "with the heart" and not "with the mind", they showed us that Reading is something else, not just something compulsory and boring that teachers give to students.

Nydek School was beautiful and colourful. I had never seen a teacher like Vlasta, so funny and so "warm". All the activities were perfect, I liked so much going to Chantoria, and the views of Poland were awesome.

They created one of the best experiences in my life, I lived unforgettable moments with the best people in the Czech Republic.
